Privacy Policy

The Board of Goulburn Region Tourism (GRT) is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information which the organisation collects, holds and administers. Personal information is information which directly or indirectly identifies a person.

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework for GRT in dealing with privacy considerations.

Scope

This policy applies to Board and staff of GRT and our stakeholder interactions.

Policy

GRT collects and administers a range of personal information for the purposes of communicating with about the activities, offerings, events and opportunities associated with visitor experiences and tourism in the Goulburn region. The organisation is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information it collects, holds and administers.

GRT recognises the essential right of individuals to have their information administered in ways which they would reasonably expect – protected on one hand, and made accessible to them on the other. These privacy values are reflected in and supported by our core values and philosophies and also reflected in our Privacy Policy, which is compliant with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

GRT is bound by laws which impose specific obligations when it comes to handling information. The organisation has adopted the following principles contained as minimum standards in relation to handling personal information.

GRT will

• Collect only information which the organisation requires for its primary function;

• Ensure that stakeholders are informed as to why we collect the information and how we administer the information gathered;

• Use and disclose personal information only for our primary functions or a directly related purpose, or for another purpose with the person’s consent;

• Store personal information securely, protecting it from unauthorised access; and

• Provide stakeholders with access to their own information, and the right to seek its correction.Review and Amendment

This policy will be reviewed every 3 years, and amendments will be made as necessary to ensure it remains effective and aligned with the organisation’s objectives.

Approval

This procurement policy is approved by the GRT Board of Directors and is effective from 26 March 2025.

Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Goulburn Region Tourism, ABN 73 402 514 063


2. Eligibility

Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and over at the time of entry.
Employees of Goulburn Region Tourism and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.


3. Competition Period

The competition opens on 2nd of July 2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 22 July 2025.


4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must scan the QR code and complete the Visitor Survey https://forms.uniqo.de/1I3U1L during the competition period.
Only one entry per person will be accepted.


5. Prizes

There are 5 prizes to be won. Each prize consists of a $100 Visa gift card.
The total prize pool is valued at $500 AUD.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.


6. Winner Selection

Winners will be drawn at random on 23 July 2025 at 7pm at Moove 7723 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla VIC 3631.
Winners will be contacted via email within 2 business days of the draw.
If a winner does not respond within 7 days, the promoter reserves the right to redraw.


7. Prize Delivery

Prizes will be delivered by mail to the winners’ nominated Australian addresses within 14 days of confirmation.


8. Unclaimed Prizes

If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts, it may be redrawn and awarded to another eligible entrant.


9. Privacy

By entering, participants agree that their personal information may be used by the promoter to administer the competition and to contact winners.
Personal details will be handled in accordance with the promoter’s Privacy Policy.


10. Liability

The promoter is not responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected entries, or for any technical issues that may prevent participation.
To the extent permitted by law, the promoter is not liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of entering the competition or accepting a prize.


11. General

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition at any time without notice, subject to regulatory approval.
By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
